C. Jackson & Sons have found themselves in the news with a high-profile project garnering national interest.
We have been contracted to undertake the demolition of the ‘Captain Tom Building’, a former Spa Building in Marston Moretaine, following an unsuccessful planning application appeal.
Due to the public interest, the works have been covered by many of the national and local news outlets, including the daily presence of photographers and drone cameras.
Last week we removed the roof to a section of the building by hand to allow the pool removal by crane.
Now this has been completed our excavator has arrived on site and we are proceeding with the mechanical demolition of the building.
If you would like to discuss an upcoming project, please get in touch on our contact us page.
Impressed to see a professional job done like this, particularly under the glare of media scrutiny. If a neighbour I know flouts agreed planning permission and needs to demolish their illegal structure, I will recommend C. Jackson & Sons Demolition & Dismantling Contractors to demolish and dismantle it.
Fantastic work from all the lads (and lasses?) at CJ&S, it’s been a wonderful week watching you professionally dismantle and demolish the spite spa – thanks for the hi-res photos above.
Outstanding and professional work, a pleasure to see. I had previously booked Marlon & Roscoe (M&R) to do a similar job, and had it gone like this, I have no doubt they’d have gotten my repeat business. As it stands I’ll definitely be considering C. Jackson for work like this in the future
