King’s College Chapel is a Grade I Listed Building and over 500 years old. The chapel is a very popular tourist attraction.

The large 16th century Harrison & Harrison organ contained various ACM’s.

The exact location of internal ACM’s was unknown at the start of the project.

The work involved progressive asbestos enclosure design and construction, in conjunction with conceptual scaffold design. Organ components were opened up alongside organ repair specialists to facilitate the removal of ACM’s.

ACM’s were removed to facilitate the organ restoration.
